Description

1/16"=1' scale model of tensile shading devices used in one of my designs. The roof is a stepped structure with each level having a roof garden. The dynamic of the tensile structure let my building break free of urban context. Sun is shown from the south, displaying the maximum shading period of the fabric. The step design self shades from Western sunlight. And yes, those were my pantyhose :'(
