CT: Millenial Dance

Hey everyone! Oh man it's been forever since I posted anything this close to my heart. Ever since I beat Chrono Trigger years ago, I've had this image in my head of Crono and Marle sharing a dance at the night festival. I actually started this piece well over a year ago, but my art level wasn't high enough so I dropped it. Well I've been practicing hard, so on a whim I picked it up again a few weeks ago and pretty much repainted everything.

It's in no way perfect, but it's the first personal piece I've done in a long time. I had a lot of fun playing with Marle's joyous expression and trying to capture Crono's silent happiness. I wanted it to capture this moment of maybe Lucca approaching and Marle greeting her with this great enthusiasm. Three really awesome art friends of mine critiqued this piece for me all the way through the process since I was experimenting with a lot of unfamiliar things. :3 Please let me know what you think! If even one person smiles at seeing this piece, then I've accomplished what I wanted out of it.

One of my guilty pleasures is my LOVE of princess dresses. Marle's gown is inspired by Belle's from Beauty and the Beast, although I didn't let myself get that crazy with it.
